The Alliance

The Making Decisions Alliance brought together a wide range of organisations and groups working with people who may, for a range of different reasons, have difficulty in making or communicating decisions.

What did we want to achieve?

The 2 broad aims of the Alliance were to:

• lobby the Government to introduce mental capacity legislation

• increase awareness of the need for new legislation
